  Especially for Subscribers

These images are for the March 2008 newsletter which mails on March 10. You'll find more detailed text in that issue. It may take awhile for your computer to load these large images, but I wanted you to see as much detail as possible.

Here is the 1945 pattern redesigned into a two piece sheath dress. Tucked in it becomes a dress with a fitted waist, and while the top can be worn separately with pants, the skirt can also be separated to use with other tops. The red and white Anna's Rose Print in the newsletter works terrific with the red cotton and rayon fabric from the July, 2006 newsletter called Fall for Red. It was swatch #70603 and I have a few yards of that wonderful red fabric if you're interested.
March/April 2008
Here's the Anna Sui licensed fabric with it's wonderful rose print. The selvages are labeled with her name.
Here you can see how the front and back pattern tissue is recut with a new neckline for the sheath dress.

To my knowledge, this mannequin with the oak tag pieces from a Chanel jacket attached has never been shown before.

This is the Spring Floral made up into the skirt that is redesigned in the newsletter on page 7.

This is the simple cardigan made from the 1960 pattern's top. Direction page 14 in the March 2008 newsletter.

You can also view these in the file labeled "The Ingredients" at the top of the button page.

These are the trims that work very nicely with the Spring Tweeds. They're just $1.00/yard and as you can see, include an extension so you can sew it between seam allowances for a little something along the edges.
