These

find more detailed text in that issue. It may take awhile for your computer
to load these large images, but I wanted you to see as much detail as
possible. |

Here is the 1945 pattern redesigned into a two piece sheath dress. Tucked in it becomes a dress with a fitted waist, and while the top can be worn separately with pants, the skirt can also be separated to use with other tops. The red and white Anna's Rose Print in the newsletter works terrific with the red cotton and rayon fabric from the July, 2006 newsletter called Fall for Red. It was swatch #70603 and I have a few yards of that wonderful red fabric if you're interested. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

These
are the trims that work very nicely with the Spring Tweeds. They're just
$1.00/yard and as you can see, include an extension so you can sew it
between seam allowances for a little something along the edges. |
