pictures that need to appear here, though I thought you'd like a better
color picture of the beautiful jacquard blouse fabric. |

Here is the jacquard convertible collar blouse on the left with the collar turned upward, to the right with the top button undone and an open throat. The blouses below show the short tie on the left and the double length version wrapped around the collar and tied low as many designers' stylists showed this blouse on the Fall runways. |

This is how you might take a jacket and see how you'd like to cut a new neckline--here a 1945 jacket constructed without the collar has a wider neckline pinned in a new shape. You can pin any of the 1945 series jacket patterns with a new outline for a neckline then design a collar to the new shape. This is described in detail in the July issue. Since this is a black jacket, it would have been difficult to see the pins in the newsletter, so this photo can be useful to the text on page 7. |
